A Flyover & Salute Over the Lake – 12:15 PM
The highlight of the afternoon takes to the air at 12:15 PM, when a flyover passes right over the lake as a salute to the holiday. It’s a quick, unforgettable moment, so you’ll want to be settled in and looking skyward before the clock hits quarter past noon.
Get out to the lake early so you don’t miss it – parking and prime viewing spots fill up fast on the 4th, and you won’t want to be hustling to find a place as the planes come through. Arrive with time to spare, find your spot along the shore, and have the whole crew ready to look up.
Live Music All Day Long
We’re keeping the good times rolling from midday into the night with two great acts taking the stage:
- Aquile and Company – 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM
- KWB – 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM
Kick off the afternoon with Aquile and Company setting the tone right around the flyover, then come back as the sun drops for KWB to carry the celebration deep into the evening. Bring your chairs, your dancing shoes, and plenty of friends.
Make a Day of It
Pack the cooler, grab the sunscreen, and plan to stay a while. With the marina, the shoreline, and live music going all day, there’s no reason to rush off. Come early, stake out your spot, and settle in for one of the best days of the summer.
